Don't want to use an Android phone? Build a self-custody wallet from named parts you can see, check and reflash. With TELRPC Kit OS, which will be published on this page, the keys are born on it, the payments leave it as a phone call, and nothing in it connects to the internet.
Buy the parts yourself from their makers, we list every one below, or buy the complete kit from us. Either way you assemble it yourself, from parts still sealed in their makers' packaging.
In October 2026, buyers of hardware wallets from one reseller reported drained wallets; an on-chain analyst put losses above $86 million, a figure the maker has not confirmed (reported here).
The lesson applies to every device that holds money: know where it came from, and know what is inside it. The TELRPC Wallet Kit is built for exactly that. Every part comes from a named maker, in its own packaging, with its own documentation. You can open it, inspect it, wipe it and reflash it yourself, and check the software against its SHA-256 fingerprint.
Six parts. Each one has a single job, and each one is named, so you know exactly what you are trusting. The computer, display and camera are designed by Raspberry Pi and made in Wales, in the UK. The 4G voice stick is made in China, and it only ever carries signed payments: your keys never reach it.

About thirty minutes, one screwdriver, no soldering. The kit arrives as sealed parts, not assembled: nothing reaches you that you have not opened, built and checked yourself. Every step is shown here; steps 4 to 7 need TELRPC Kit OS, which will be published on this page.

Check each part against the list: the maker, the model and the seal on each box. Nothing unbranded, nothing you cannot look up.

Any SIM with calls works; a calls-only, prepaid SIM keeps your identity and the data side out of the picture. Fit the antenna and plug the modem into a USB port.

Two ribbon cables, each into its own marked connector. Mount the board on the back of the display and close the case.

On any computer, write the TELRPC Kit OS image to the card and compare its SHA-256 with its fingerprint. The TELRPC Kit OS image and its SHA-256 fingerprint will be published on this page. This will be the only moment a computer is involved, and the kit itself is never online.

Your keys will be generated on the kit. Write the twelve words on paper, check them, and add a PIN. TELRPC Kit OS will encrypt the words on the card under a key that never leaves the device.

The camera will read the chain state a send needs, or the grid will return it by echo. Show your address to get paid. Top up broadcast credit from any browser at telrpc.com/topup before your first send: 10 cents a broadcast, sync or balance read by call.

Approve the payment on the screen. The kit will sign it, dial the grid through its own modem and key the signed payment as tones. The grid broadcasts it and calls back with the confirmation in the caller ID. No phone in your hand, and no internet anywhere in the path.
Already keep your coins on a hardware wallet? With TELRPC Kit OS you will plug a Ledger, Trezor or BitBox02 Multi into the kit with a USB cable, or show a Keystone, Passport or Jade to its camera. The device signs, the kit sends the payment by call, and your keys stay on the device.
Supported devices and coinsLedger, Trezor, BitBox, Keystone, Foundation Passport and Blockstream Jade are trademarks of their respective owners. TELRPC is independent, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
You do not need us to have this wallet. Every part is listed below with its maker, and TELRPC Kit OS will be free: the image and its SHA-256 fingerprint will be published on this page. Buy the parts, follow the steps above, and it is yours from the first screw. If you would rather not source six parts from different shops, buy the kit from us: the same parts in one box, each still sealed.
Everything you need. Buy each part from its maker or an official reseller. Budget prices, October 2026, with room for price changes.

About thirty minutes to build, plus flashing the card. No soldering, one screwdriver.
For convenience. Every part on the list in one box, each sealed in its maker's packaging. We do not open, assemble or flash anything: you build it and you check it, so the only hands inside your wallet are yours. $249 covers the parts plus our fee for sourcing, packing and shipping.
Sold out. Tell us and we will let you know when kits are back.
You can: the TELRPC Wallet runs on any Android phone. The kit is for people who want a device built for one job from parts they can name and inspect, with no phone operating system, no app store and no radios in use beyond a voice call.
Only for convenience. Buying the parts yourself is cheaper, and the result is the same device, which will run the same free TELRPC Kit OS. Buy from us if you would rather get every part in one box than source them from different shops.
So you can trust it. Every part reaches you sealed by its maker, and you are the only person who opens, connects and flashes it. Nothing has been inside your wallet before you.
Yes. You will be able to reflash the card from the TELRPC Kit OS image at any time and check its fingerprint. Your wallet comes back from your twelve words.
Your twelve words restore the wallet on a new kit or in the TELRPC Wallet on any Android phone. Keep them on paper, somewhere else.
TELRPC Kit OS will handle the same coins as the TELRPC Wallet: receive on every major chain, send on the EVM family, Bitcoin, Solana, Litecoin, Dogecoin, XRP, Tron with USDT, Cardano, Stellar, Cosmos, TON, NEAR, Tezos, Bitcoin Cash and Nano.
10 cents of prepaid broadcast credit per payment, never a percentage of the payment, plus the call at your carrier's normal rate (a local call where a local number is live, 15 countries today and 93 on request, or a call to the US line).
Yes, with TELRPC Kit OS. You will plug a Ledger, Trezor or BitBox02 Multi into the kit with a USB cable, or show a Keystone, Passport or Jade to its camera; never Bluetooth. The device signs, you approve each send on its own screen, and the kit sends it by call, so your keys stay on the device. The supported models and coins will be the same as in the TELRPC Wallet: see the table.
Yes, as a signing appliance for a treasury: the same kit, with its signing addresses allowlisted on the TELRPC Console. See institutions.
